    Featuring hors d’oeuvres, a complete prime rib
    or grilled salmon dinner; wine, beer and other beverages;

    Save the Date - Albany, NY AHEPA Family Appreciation Day May 5, 2014

    Dear Everyone,

     Please see the attached flyer for the Albany AHEPA Family Appreciation Day on Monday, May 5. There will be a kickoff reception from 9:00 - 11:00 am and a light breakfast will be served. We will meet at the Legislative office room 120 (LOB). There will be meetings with your legislators as we walk the halls of the state capitol. This day will be a great learning experience!     Save the Date - AHEPA Brooklyn #41 Golf Outing May 9, 2014

    Spring is here, the sun is shinning and its time to dust off the golf clubs!
     
    You are cordially invited to our Fourth Annual Golf Event on Friday May 9, 2014 at Dyker Beach Golf Course, located at 1030 86th St, Brooklyn, NY 11228 .
     
    Once again, Brooklyn AHEPA 41 will be hosting the Brooklyn Community Golf Outing  for the benefit of the greater Brooklyn community comprised of the four major Greek Orthodox Churches of Brooklyn, NY.

    Registration/Brunch begins at 11:30am and Shotgun Start for golf is at 1:00pm. There is also an Awards Dinner following the round of golf.

    Cost is $200 per golfer which includes green fees, golf cart, brunch, lunch and dinner, unlimited beer, cigars, giveaways, contests and raffle prizes!

    Sponsors will receive recognition and exposure in our entire community and will be very much appreciated!!!

    Sponsorships include the following:
    $2,500 - Platinum
    $1,500 - Gold
    $650 - Silver
    $250 - Bronze
    $50 to $200 - Friendship

    Golfers - proper golf attire is required at the Dyker Beach Golf Course (no denim jeans or shorts and soft spikes only).

    The awards dinner portion of this event is open to non-golfers as well. Those who wish to attend the dinner only, donation is $75 for dinner and open bar.

    Flag Raising Ceremony

    The annual Greek Flag Raising Ceremony in Highland Falls will take place on Sunday, April 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm at the Memorial Park located at the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Main Street.     Brooklyn AHEPA 41

    In celebration of Greek Independence and in conjunction with the ceremonies and events surrounding the Greek Independence Parade Weekend in New York City, Brooklyn AHEPA 41 is hosting a benefit for the earthquake victims of Kefalonia. The 5th annual Eleftheria Gala Cocktail Party will take place at 9 pm on Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Renaissance Event Hall located at 27-34 21st Street, Astoria, NY. There will be a live band with classic Greek and American Music, Premium Open Bar, and Hors’ D Oeuvres. 

    AHEPA 41 is also proud to be hosting a Greek Heritage Day Celebration at Saints Constantine and Helen Cathedral (64 Schermerhorn St., Brooklyn, NY) on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at 1 pm, with our New York State Senator Marty Golden and New York State Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis.  Children from the various community schools will perform, and awards will be presented to four outstanding individuals for their many years of service and commitment to our community.   

    Since its reactivation in 2009, AHEPA 41 has been at the forefront in promoting our core American and Hellenic Values of Individual Sovereignty and Responsibility, Family Values, Education, and Community & Civic Responsibility.     PTO Carnival

    The PTO of the Greek School of Plato in Bay Ridge Brooklyn is hosting their First Annual Carnival, celebrating APOKRIES on Friday, February 28. This will be a night filled with Carnival fun for all ages. ~ BIG WHEEL ~ Electronic bull ride ~ Carnival games for all ages ~ Cotton Candy ~ Candy Apples ~ Raffles ~ Prizes and so much more. Full Buffet and Open Bar all night long. Music Entertainment and special Greek Dance performance by the Greek School of Plato dance group.

    Proceeds will go towards helping build the first Greek Community and Cultural center in Brooklyn, NY.
