AHEPA Chapter 306 – “Trojan” – Troy, NY

Founded circa 1937, Chapter 306—known as the “Trojan” chapter—is an active part of AHEPA’s Empire District 6, serving the Greek-American congregation at St. Basil Greek Orthodox Church in Troy.

Recent Highlights

  • On June 11, 2025, Chapter 306 co-hosted the 6th Annual Eleftheria Capital Region Golf Outing alongside Albany Chapter 140 and Schenectady Chapter 125 at Normanside Country Club, raising scholarship funds and supporting the USS Slater naval museum.

  • In February 2025, the chapter sponsored a community breakfast at St. Basil, thanking parishioners for their ongoing support.

  • On October 14, 2023, the chapter revived its beloved Souvlaki Fest, offering authentic Greek fare (gyros, spanakopita, moussaka) at St. Basil Church to fundraise for parish initiatives.

  • In June 2020, Chapter 306 held its first in-person meeting since COVID‑19 restrictions, signaling a return to active local engagement.
