AHEPA Chapter 405 – “Evzone” – New Rochelle, NY

Based at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Chapter 405 (James Plevritis–Joseph C. Keane) plays a central role in promoting Hellenic values of education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, and family in New Rochelle.

Recent Impact​

• AHEPA Sunday (May 2024): Celebrated with a solemn liturgy and remembrance of departed brothers at Holy Trinity Church.

• Veterans Support (Nov 2023): Partnered with Philoptochos to present $1,000 in grocery cards to veterans and the Bronx VA Medical Center.

• Sail to Freedom (June 2021): Joined the Hudson River boat parade for the Bicentennial of Greek Independence.

• May 2024 Golf Outing: Hosted a successful outing at Leewood Golf Club—nearly 120 golfers participated, raising scholarships and donating $5,000 to The Guidance Center of Westchester.

• Organized fundraisers to support church staff—like a Cigar Night for caretaker Jose Gomez.
