AHEPA Chapter 500 – “Shrine” – Greenlawn, NY

Chartered in 1978, and Reactivated on September 27, 2019, Chapter 500 is one of the latest addition to AHEPA’s Empire District 6, based at Saint Paraskevi Greek Orthodox Church in Greenlawn.

 

Recent Highlights

​

• During the September 13–15, 2024 Greek Festival, Chapter 500 operated the Wine Ring Toss booth, raising over $6,500 and hosting more than 349 winners to support church and chapter programming.

• In October 2023, the chapter welcomed Empire District 6’s lieutenant governor at a special meeting, strengthening its ties within the district network.

• The chapter actively supports church ministries, including festival assistance and outreach to special-needs families—highlighted by pandemic-era aid efforts.
