AHEPA Chapter 545 – “Hudson Odysseus” – Middletown, NY

Chartered in 1957, Chapter 545—also known as "Hudson Odysseus"—serves the Middletown Greek-American community as part of Empire District 6.

Highlights & Activities

​

• Hosts an annual Vasilopita Cutting each January (e.g., January 2023 and 2024), bringing members together to celebrate the New Year and raise funds for charitable causes.

• Throughout the COVID era, the chapter supported local families through outreach efforts, helping those impacted by the pandemic.

• Maintains an active social media presence—with around 695 Facebook followers—to share outreach efforts, cultural activities, and fellowship events .

Community & Values

Chapter 545 embodies AHEPA’s pillars of Hellenism, education, philanthropy, civic responsibility, and family, uniting members through cultural traditions like Vasilopita, community service, and active engagement with the broader Middletown community.

Despite being a mid-sized chapter, Hudson Odysseus remains a dedicated force for Greek heritage, charity, and fellowship in Orange County.
