AHEPA Sunday 2020

Xristos Anesti/Christ is risen! Sunday, May 17 is a great day for AHEPA and where it is honored by the Greek Orthodox Church of America throughout the land on the occasion of the annual observance of AHEPA Sunday at our Orthodox Churches. The Order of AHEPA and the Greek Orthodox Church of America were both founded in 1922 and from that year to today have shared a powerful bond that represent on the secular side with AHEPA and religious side by the GOA the finest aspects and examples of Hellenism in the diaspora. Over those years AHEPA Family members serving in communities around the country have helped in the fundraising and founding of our Churches.

His Eminence Archbishop Elpidophoros of America has proclaimed May 17, 2020 as AHEPA Sunday and below is the link to his heart warming Encyclical to the AHEPA Family on this occasion and that will be read and on display in every Church in America, in recognition of this special day. Enclosed also find the wonderful, inspiring and informative video made by AHEPA for this year’s AHEPA Day.
