I hope all is well. On October 21 at 7:00 pm Sons of Pericles New Renaissance Chapter #5 in Manhattan will be conducting a virtual presentation titled How Regions Won the Revolution: Macedonia. The event will be a panel discussion explaining Macedonia’s involvement in the Greek Revolution of 1821. The presentation is in conjunction with the Greece 200 initiative, which is a committee formed by the youth of the Hellenic Diaspora to ensure that the young generation has a leading voice in celebrating the Greek Bicentennial. Please see the photos below including a picture of Emmanouil Pappas, who was an influential revolutionary leader in Macedonia, as well as the logo of the Sons of Pericles (Greek Bicentennial version) and the Greece 200 initiative.
